Announcing a New Resource for Golf Home Buyers

    First, an apology:  You may have noticed we did not publish a March issue of this publication -- to which I plead guilty, with an explanation.
    For the last five months, I have been working hard to launch a new web site called GolfHomesListed.com that greatly simplifies the search for a golf home.  Many of you searching for a golf home have told me that most real estate agency web sites do a poor job of organizing their golf community listings.  I have experienced that myself when searching for samples of homes in my customers’ price ranges.  Also, the potential golf community homebuyer in, say, Pennsylvania often must rely on Internet searches to determine which real estate professionals in the southern U.S. have the experience and knowledge about golf communities to best represent that customer’s interests.  The investigation is tedious and time consuming.
    GolfHomesListed organizes and lists golf properties for sale by individual communities, making it easier for those looking for a golf home to understand the range of real estate options in each community.  Each page of listings includes an overview of the community, a map indicating its location, specific details about its proximity to important services, links to reviews we have written at GolfCommunityReviews, and up to 16 properties that includes lots and homes currently for sale.  Each page includes a photograph and short biography of the real estate professional who has posted the listings and is available to share additional details.  We have worked with most of these real estate agents and can vouch for their experience, knowledge and professionalism.  In the few cases in which we do not know a Realtor personally, we interview them about their experience and conduct additional research to ensure our readers will be well served.
    Some of the top golf communities in the southern U.S. have signed up initially to use the service, a total of 20 (see list at left).  We are in negotiations with additional communities both in and beyond the southeast region and expect a significant number of new communities to sign up in the coming weeks.  Please check the site often.  Our goal is to make GolfHomesListed the first stop for those seeking up-to-date information about golf homes for sale in America’s highest quality golf communities, and to match buyers with real estate professionals who specialize in golf community properties.
