Cobblestone Park

Cobblestone has endured a riches-to-rags-to-riches saga, and emerged as one of the premier golf communities in the Columbia area. Within an eight-iron of the Interstate, the community is close enough to the University of South Carolina to attract university professors and the Gamecocks’ men’s and women’s golf teams to its fine 27-hole layout, yet far enough from the city to feel “rural.” Today, national builder D.R. Horton has breathed new life (and many new homes) into the community, and the only legacy of the hit Cobblestone took during the recession are some of the best values in golf community real estate in the South.  In recent years, a 30,000 square foot clubhouse has been opened for the use and enjoyment of residents and those golfers drawn to the 240 acres of rolling hills that characterize a layout deemed top 30 in the state by the South Carolina Golf Rating Panel.  Along roster of additional amenities includes six tennis courts, a gymnasium that can accommodate basketball games, many miles of walking trails, several small parks, a duck pond and 24-hour gated security.
