Savannah Lakes Village

visit-and-recommend

Savannah Lakes Village sounds like the kind of place that should be on the coast of Georgia but it is located in McCormick, SC, a good distance from the hustle and bustle of civilization. But there is plenty of water around in the form of Lake Thurmond, one of those manmade bodies of water that look as natural as the Great Lakes; and at 4,000 acres, the community takes full advantage of its location by the lake. The finger-shaped coves that run throughout Savannah Lakes provide plenty of water-view homes, and at some surprisingly reasonable prices. As for the golf, the two 18-hole layouts provide contrasting experiences: The Monticello course exhibits all the elements of a classic lakeside layout, and the Tara provides a more "elevating" experience, with dramatic changes in elevations. Best of all, the membership initiation fee is complimentary for all property owners and monthly dues are modest for the amount of quality of the golf and other amenities.  When you combine annual homeowner association fees and golf dues, the total cost for a couple runs to about $350 per month.  If you would like us to send you a full color brochure listing all amenities and fees and other important information about Savannah Lakes Village, please contact us us and request the brochure.
