I can't visit every golf course community, much as I would like to. There are thousands of them nationwide (and a like number around the world). But I do try to visit those in the most popular areas of the southern U.S.
I'll be planning visits soon for the rest of the summer and into the fall. I have a few places in mind - The Texas Hill Country between Austin and San Antonio; the Gulf Coast area around Mobile, AL; the Blue Ridge Mountains and the areas of Cashiers and Brevard, NC; Reynolds Plantation in Georgia (enough golf to keep one occupied for a week); and Santa Fe, NM.
If you have a favorite choice among these or have another area in mind, let me know and I will do my best to get there to cover it in depth in the HomeOnTheCourse Community Guide. At the very least, I will do research on the area and post my thoughts here.
